DON'T BUY THIS BOOK!!!!! I bought this book on the recommendation of a tutor as I will be starting to learn Greek in September at Bible College. I am about half-way through the book and have the following comments: It introduces a concept without actually discussing what the concept is; the level of the book fluctuates greatly, in some places it assumes you are an expert of English grammar; when describing grammar (such as a verb) it sometimes leaves out important concepts that relate to that point on grammar (chapter 6 neglects to cover "mood" and "source" but the includes them in the "helpful" table at the end; finally, answers are not provided for the exercises at the ends of the chapters (unless of course there is a hidden codex that is revealed once you rescue the maiden from the tower - sorry for the diversion but this book is driving me mad). So you will probably find this book only partly helpful with the confusion from the unhelpful parts actually damaging the learning experience of the helpful. I am going to try and complete this book without the need for therapy and hopefully will be able to update this review postively when I am finished (or negatively from a secure hospital ward). I have spoken to fellow students and they are of the same opinion, one has read the book five times and still cannot understand it. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!!!!
