Customer Review

on 2 March 2002
I've done about 8 of the routes in this book, mainly in the Western Highlands. They are fabulous but I find the timings to be too low by about 20%. So an 8 hour walk can take up to 10, assuming good fitness and a desire to smell the roses along the way. Mr Storer must go at a hell of a pace! I agree with the previous reviewer that the book is dull in presentation and the routes do need careful reading, but you wouldn't go into the mountains without a map and preparation would you?
