Quite good really...,
This review is from: In Session with Peter Green (Guitar Tab with Free Audio CD) (Paperback)
This book really is the erogenous zones of the beastie of your choice. The tab's are accurate and the cd is spot on as well, comprising a full run through (without vocals) of the song, followed by a guitar-less run through to practice or record yourself to, and then the solo section is slowed down, followed by a backing track to play to.
Probably not for the green novice, but intermediate players will find lots of stuff to get their teeth into. If you like the blues this is a must buy. The songs included are: Black Magic Woman, Need Your Love So Bad, Albatross, Man Of The World, Watch Out and Merry Go Round.

The inclusion of 'Watch out' and 'Merry go round' is a real bonus. Those tracks aren't often as well known and yet they include some of Peter Green's greatest slow, soulful playing. Look for them on Youtube if you don't know them - and then buy this book. That's my advice anyway. Also, if you want a guitar that comes with the reversed pickup and out-of-phase electronics that made PG's sound so unique, there is (as far as I know) just one model available - and it's NOT a bank breaker! Look for the Vintage V100MRPGM 'Lemon Drop'.

'Watch out' not the original version - listen to CD 'The Original Fleetwood Mac' and compare - Book CD version still excellent!!!
