A little pricey for headphones,

What can I say about headphones ? The audio quality is fine enough, although these are clearly not aimed at more discerning "audiophile" types, and as with any audio equipment, heavily dependent upon the quality of the source you're playing back anyway. They're comfortable enough, fit securely, but really muffle sounds in the environment around you (dependent upon the fit in your ear, though, of course), so I can see these coming very useful on aircraft or the occasional bit of late-night insomnia - I could barely hear anything while wearing them. Without practise, however, the over-the-ear hooks are a little tricky to fit over your ears in the first place, though.
Also, although you'd lose the headset mic. capabilities, I've tested these on my PC's 3.5mm jack and also a Samsung Galaxy S phone, where they work fine as conventional stereo headphones when not connected to an iPod or iPhone (some headphones shift around the connectors on the plug, resulting in muffled or mono sound due to a proprietary connection.). You also get two spare earbuds of different sizes, a 60cm extension cable, and a little pouch for carrying them.
They're fine enough as headphones indeed, but I'm not sure I'd pay thirty quid for them.
