Customer Review

on 1 July 2009
This film was such an abject disappointment to me that I am still angry.

The story line was so wildly improbable as to be almost laughable - which it would be if it did not concern a series and an author for which I have so much respect.

The very thought of people like Anne wandering with impunity through a war zone makes Pearl Pureheart's adventures tied to a railway line almost believable or maybe even "The Perils of Pauline".

I am sorry I watched it. How dare they take such liberties with this wonderful saga!!!

An apology and a remake which remains true to the real story would be in order.
