Putting mice on their back... (Not a pre-"cursor" to encite cruelty) :),
This review is from: Logitech Trackman Wheel (Accessory)
Before this wired version i had the wireless one, to be honest i should have had this wired one first! the wire doesn't get in the way because the mouse doesn't move anyway.... I loved this mouse, they should have invented this design first, all it is in reality is an upturned mouse (slightly redesigned)... This mouse is fantastic for the price, it does its job very well, and although i haven't tried the more expensive versions, i am very happy with this one... its comfortable for my large hands, and its comfortable for small hands too, the only little downside is you have to take out the ball and clean it every now and again.... especially when you get people that enjoy snacking whilst using the pc... no names mentioned ;) but in all fairness, the ball pops out with ease and a little polish and a bit of chinese stress ball action and its clean and ready to go... oh, and a little wipe of the white spacers inside the cup has it like new... great fun when you first get one... spinning the ball as quick as you can so it wheel spins and sends the pointer shooting across the screen is a great novelty!!! with a little practice you can flick the pointer across the screen with a fair amount of accuracy to stop in around about the right place! perfect for the features coming out in software where a a little click and flick kinda throws things about the screen... (like Adobe PS Pro when zoomed in or using large pictures.... etc)
This mouse took me about 30 minutes to get used to properly.. and i now smile when i see people forget and try and move the mouse about.... its great for games and FPS etc... in fact its a fantastic design full-stop! RSI, arthritis sufferers etc would very much feel a lot more comfortable using this mouse.. providing you have a healthy right thumb of course! it is a USB connection, but there is a USB to PS/2(old fashioned mouse plug) adapter provided, so no excuses really!
I use it for graphics work, whether 3D or 2D, to be honest, its not easy to use for the 2D painting work, but absolutely fantastic in a 3D environment! I use a tablet for drawing, that was definitely a good buy!
