Love that Guy :D,
This review is from: Monday to Friday Man (Kindle Edition)
This book was a very easy read, i finished it quite quickly because i wanted to see what would happen with the characters who for the most part were great with the odd exception (Nancy!). It took time for me to warm to Gilly who for a while came across as quite shallow, especially when choosing a lodger.
The flahbacks to her youth were always interesting, i enjoyed reading about her younger sister Megan, and at some points it was sad.
I loved how dogs were incorporated into the story being a dog lover myself. Although most of the dogs here had terrible names! I loved how much Gilly loved her Ruskin though, it was very sweet. I also actually wanted to be a part of that dog walking group!
Regarding the men, well Guy was brilliant from the get go. And i was intrigued by what Jack got up to at weekends but the reveal wasn't all that really. The ending was what was expected but that's no bad thing at all.
All in all a nice little cosy read.
