In the box you get the body, the head and the charger cable. Along with instructions etc. The toothbrush has to be charged before first use and the instructions inform you this could take up to 24 hours. It did. It just stands on the charging dock with a green flashing light that stops when it's charged. Then you will have about weeks worth of use, presumable brushing twice daily.
Before this I was using those supermarket cheap electric toothbrushes and this a huge step up in performance, really surprised me. A bit of a shock to start with as it felt like I was using a sander on my teeth. Once you quickly get used to it though it gives a really good clean and I wish I'd had one before. The brush also has useful features like a sensor that tells you if you are applying too much pressure by stopping the pulsing and a different sound. Also a stuttering occurs every 30 seconds to remind you to move onto the next quadrant of your mouth. Then a different stuttering sound after 2 minutes to tell you brushing time is over.
All in all, I'm really pleased with it. For entry level it seems to have everything I'd want. Definitely recommended.
