A Massive Attack... of Goth,

I can't even remember how i discovered this album. I think i was following links on YouTube, which is weird, because I have no urgent interest in 'proper Goth' at all. Anyway, the fact is, this album is utterly spectacular. It conjures a feeling of all the good stuff that came out of the goth / alternative scene in the 80's and 90's: So we have elements and sounds that will REMIND you of Cocteau Twins, Lush, Curve, Tricky, Massive Attack, going all the way up to Lacuna Coil ( before they went Nu Metal ), and somehow progressing it further.
In actuality The Eden House have rebooted goth ( must we use that limiting term here? ) for the new decade, as they could appeal to all tastes with their sweeping, majestic sound, fronted by a trio of amazing female vocalists ( including All About Eve's Julianne Regan ). It is epic, cinematic and incredibly sexy.
I saw the band live last night, and it served to cement my feeling that The Eden House will shortly be blowing the roofs off various Euro-stadia very soon.
