Could do better,
This review is from: Pour Your Heart into it: How Starbucks Built a Company One Cup at a Time (Paperback)
I thought this book may be a bit different to all the other stories of fast growth companies, but was left feeling a little disappointed. A lot of factual information was included about Mr Howard Schultz, who is without doubt an interesting businessman, but it reads more of a biograohy of his life than an account of Starbucks. I also think it cuts itself short without looking too much into the future.
It's not all bad, it could be better though. Certainly I would reccomend this over Hashemi and Hashemi's "Anyone can do it.." which I also own and thought was very disappointing. I also wouldn't really reccomend this book for academic purposes, which is why i've got it and why I wish I had got something else!
