Not for anyone wanting singleplayer game. The AI is better than previous, but once you work out what it builds almost all the time its easy to beat. The single player can be completed quickly and doesnt pose much of a threat. Good unit selection and interesting upgrades make it possible to use a lot of tactics, but only if you play other humans to make those tactics worthwhile. One of the things that annoys me most is the inability to turn off super weapons (maybe it will be changed in a patch). I do use superweapons to gain an advantage, but i like to switch them off because i like building up an army, and using units more than just nuking the rough position of the enemy.
Whilst i havnt had any trouble running this game, its mainly because i have an extremely powerful machine, on my older machine it tended to slow down during cutscenes and was best played with the settings as low as possible. Even then it did slow down whenever there was a lot of action, especially if it was on screen. I found the camera controls to be simple to use but most of the time i didnt use them since you couldnt zoom out very far to get a better look at the terrain. Most of the time i sat with it left pointing the way it was at the start, only turning it if i couldnt select a unit.
Aimed at multiplayer online action, i would say. If your internet connection is slow or you dont like playing against other people then this probably wont interest you for long.
