Useful kit if you need to stay connected without the cost of 3G,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The range not as great as I hoped but it generally gets a strong enough signal for BT Wifi at the locations I need it for. I tried the AWUS036NH with the 9dBi magnet antenna but found the signal strength on this one better. It may be that this unit has a new 802.11n chipset from Realtek (RTL8188RU) which is said to have improved receive sensitivity compared to its predecessor.
The user interface is poor (looks like something from the 90s even though it is one of the latest units) but the unit does give a good connection. Beware that you will need 2 USB ports to power this unit.
