Customer Review

on 25 July 2007
Firstly, anyone who owns previous special editions of the films on this set need not apply, they are the same tim lucas commentary and all. Any horror fan unfamiliar with the name mario bava (shame on you!) or has heard the name but not seen any of his films should pick this up and see what the fuss is about. The picture and sound quality on the discs is supurb, and each film is presented in the most uncut versions that exist. Occasionally that means italian dialouge only, which can be a bit disconcerting when watching an over dubbed boris karloff but overall this set represents real value for money. It says vol 1. so I'm eagerly awaiting vol 2!
