Customer Review

on 14 May 2013
Firstly yes the books are better than the film adaptations, there are some things that dont adapt well for whatever reason and it usually comes down to runtime and budget. There are things in the book that has been left out of the film but this by no means make the experience (for me at least) any less awesome. I am surprised and shocked that this movie didnt get a worldwide release its a travesty really being all the rubbish that is in cinemas at the moment. John Dies at the End is just pure awesome, im a fan of Supernatural the TV series so we have a similar dynamic here with John and Dave. I mentioned the dynamic been similar but in a more trippy witty sort of way. There is a very cool and funny yet touching twist at the end (or nearer the end). Im hoping Don Cascarelli comes back to do the second adapt of the second book im looking forward to seeing spiders crawl from the screen!!!
