This review is from: Nylon Angel: Parrish Plessis Book One (Paperback)
I bought this because the cover said something like "the SF version of Anita Blake" and she's an all-time favourite of mine. The book and the heroine weren't anything like as good and I was very disappointed. Parrish (the heroine) staggered or crawled from crisis to crisis losing an impressive amount of hardware along the way. She didn't have much going for her and her final triumph seemed highly improbable. The locations and other characters didn't jump out of the pages at me. In fact I can barely remember them and I read it yesterday.
