This is a collection of essays by different writers, each an expert in their own field, writing on religion. John Loftus himself also contributes, especially with a piece on the Outsider Test which was covered more fully in his previous book and the coverage here is perhaps too short. It involves giving critical thought to one's own religion as one would to an outside religion and this often involves seeing one's own faith (if indeed one has faith) as much less obvious or immovable than one thought! This could be a real eye-opener if applied properly. All in all it just reaffirmed my own atheistic stance, but for an open-minded believer it should be food for thought.
