This is a well written, with light-hearted conversational tones. The book is filled with useful information that challenges preconceptions about how a pattern must be followed religiously. It helps free you from bad fitting knits. The author holds your hand through the process of learning how to measure yourself, make a tailor's dummy from your own shape, and how the measurements need to be adjusted to get a perfect fit on your clothing.
On top of these thorough instructions are several interesting and attractive patterns, aimed at different knitting skill levels. You do not have to be an advanced knitter to learn how sweaters are constructed and can be altered.
This book is a great addition to my knitting book library and I can't wait to try out the information learned from it. I do not hesitate to recommend it either.
