It's perfectly fine releasing a box set with themed discs, especially at budget price, but personally I prefer listening to the original albums, with the original running order of the tracks (as chosen by Lennon himself). The running order of the tracks is certainly a little odd in places on this boxset, but then maybe it's just me being a Lennon purist. Nothing wrong with the music though. However, it would have been nice if more rare tracks had been included, such as e.g. "Meat City" (the B-side og "Stand By Me"), the hard-to-get live version of "Whatever Gets You Thru the Night", recorded with Elton John and his band in 1974 (Lennon's last public live performance) or Lennon's excellent take on "Be My Baby" etc., to complete the picture.
