Best value for money purchase ive made in a while,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: X-Mini II 2nd Generation Capsule Speaker with 3.5mm Jack Compatible with iPhone/iPad/iPod/Smartphones/Tablets/MP3 Player/Laptop - Black (Electronics)
Saw a good review of this on the net and i'm going backpacking this summer so it seemed perfect. It's much smaller and louder than i expected it to be, and really good value for money. in diameter its roughly 6cm and about 4cm in height. the built in audio lead means you don't need anything extra and even comes with its own little pouch for packing. Plus as for audio quality i couldn't ask for more in one speaker and the bass is impressive.
i'd reccomend getting the usb-plug charger too which means you can charge your ipod and this and save individual charger space. Overall thoroughly impressed.

Mr. C. Anderson says:
Hi, do you know if this works with iPhone, or just iPod?

Standard AUX jack, works with iPod, iPhone, AUX cables, anything you like.

Correction. Headphone jack. If you can plug headphones into it, you can plug this into it.

Mrs. S. Pearce says:
what batteries does it use, is it a rechargable or do you need to buy new batteries?

No batteries needed, and it recharges from a USB port.

How long is the lead that is integrated? It looks like it is only 3 to 4 centimetres so does it extend beyond that?
In reply to an earlier post on 1 May 2013, 15:12:52 BST
nope - the integrated cable is only about 10cm long and winds around the base of the unit for storage. Very neat and convenient but it DOES lead to strain at the connection point and eventually the wires become exposed and will probably fail. However, I have had my speaker for about four years and it's still going strong, so for the price it's outstanding.

Mr. T. L. Lord says:
I agree - great product for the price. But, if you have an iPhone or iPod you don't need the additional usb-plug charger as the cable that comes supplied with the speaker to charge it fits into an ipod/phone charger. Hope this is useful. I couldn't find any info on whether this was the case or not.
