In principle this book is an excellent idea to entertain and amuse children of 3+, although to be honest it does suit the 4+ age group somewhat better. It consists of five double spread board pages with instructions how to draw a specific item - i.e. a teddy bear relating to a toy shop in a grid form which the child can replicate on the right hand page using the included whiteboard marker.
It's a really innovative idea, but like many things in life, the concept is better than the reality as unless you allow the ink to dry properly it smudges onto surrounding fabrics/surfaces. My son is especially impatient and cannot wait for even the smallest things, so this meant that the ink smeared everywhere and try as I might, I can't remove it from my husband's top.
In conclusion, a good idea, but use with caution!
