This is the first dance record i really ever appreciated. I was for a long time of the rather closed-minded opinion that all dance music was manufactured rubbish, but this album is among the most musical i own. Sasha's wonderful use of stereo in such tracks as Space Manoeuvres is a joy to listen to on a decent system (although there is a much better mix of this track on Northern Exposure Expeditions). I would say that my favourite track was Intec's Talkin' for its throbbing bass and sonic depth but there isn't a bad track on the album, especially CD1. Although each track can, of course, be enjoyed as a stand-alone, to appreciate the skill of the mixing the album must be listened to from start to finish. Sasha's skill is most evident at the seamless changes from track to track, when you realise that the song is now a different one but you didn't notice when the number on your CD player changed. That is the musicality and the art of this record.
