This review is from: Sheffield Dialect: and Folklore since the Second World War: a Dying Tradition (Paperback)
More like a Sheffield dictionary and quite a small book, however my husband's grandad loved this for his 81st birthday! Born and bred in Sheffield, he understood the words without having to look at the explanations, although I have lived in the city for 15 years there are many phrases I don't know and pronunciations I could never get right! A very funny little book that provides many with a trip down memory lane!
