Nice one Vincent!!,
This review is from: Graphic Ink: The DC Comics Art of Frank Quitely HC (Hardcover)
Hard to complain about a luxury book on one of the most talented artists currently working in comics but there is a glaring flaw on one of the covers within - Flex Mentallo issue 3 is scanned from a copy that appears to have gone through several UK comics shops as the price stickers are clearly visible on the cover (Forbidden Planet etc). It`s so glaringly obvious I`m tempted to think it`s done on purpose but I just can`t quite believe it. In addition it seems somewhat odd to fill many pages with complete issues of the Quitely/Morrison Batman run and others too. The book is nearly 370 pages but these take up a chunk of space that I`d rather have had devoted to sketches, unpublished work and more rarities.
A bit of a curate`s egg overall but at the price (below £20) it`s a no-brainer purchase for fans of this obscenely gifted artist.
