Customer Review

on October 10, 2013
A 5 o'clock shadow at 5 o'clock.

The genius in this clock is in its simplicity. Just like the sundial centuries before it, this clock uses a simple, universal method of being able to recognise the time: The '5 o'clock shadow'.

One simply has to look at the ample facial hair of McFadden and offset that against the position of the clock hands to instantly learn the current time of day.

I have created a simple rhyme, which stands me in great stead when using this product:

"Hairy face, face the day

Baldy head, time for bed*"

*Or time for lunch. Unfortunately, this clock's only drawback is that it is not a 24 hour clock. Which is why I had to mark it down to 4 stars.
