Being new to tea my first attempts to brew this Puerh were disgusting, a strong initial overpowering taste of TCP with an increasing bitter aftertaste. After doing some research I found that the initial brief infusion of puerh needs to be discarded, I now wait until the Toucha has become loose in the hot water and discard the tea. The subsequent infusions are very pleasurable, a strong taste of apricots with a hint of smoke.
