Customer Review

on 1 January 2014
I love true stories as they are more interesting than fiction.
Following the WW 2, British troops were sent to Mandate Palestine, to disarm the Palestinians, before allowing in the armed Jewish terrorist groups like Haganah, todays Mossad, to expel the Palestinian families from their homes and land.

It was so shameful for the British, that even today, their peacekeepers have never receive official honours.
The book is based on the true stories of 800 soldiers, whose experiences and suffering in the years 1945 -1948 in mandate Palestine were video archived.

A lovely story which must shame all Brits.
