Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is the third cordless vacuum I've tried (after Bissel, Gtech) and it impressed me. It's not the lightest, but it is versatile in getting under beds and around corners etc.And frankly it's probably the most powerful and will replace a proper vacuum in that sense. There are three settings, floor, carpet and turbo. The other big plus for me is a washable hepa filter, because I have asthma and these vacuums tend to blow air out the side a bit. Anyway, the hover itself was very easy to slot together, I didn't need the instructions, but you will need a philips head screw driver for the bottom part though. The dust chamber slots out easily and there's a button that releases a door to let the dust fall out, you may need to pull it out. It's recommended to wash the filter once a month and let it dry for 24 hours before putting it back in. My Hover came with a full charge already, so I was able to test it out straight away. There's an LED charging indicator on the front that tells you how charged it is, very useful. If you want something for a quick clean there are cheaper lighter vacuums on the market, but this in my opinion is a good proper vacuum substitute, without cords. Takes up hardly any space, well designed and looks the business. A decent product that seems well made, I would recommend it.
Update. I went to charge this a few days ago and the charging cable started smoking and sparks came out of it the end when I attached it to the hoover. Hopefully I'll be able to get a new cable because at the moment, a hoover that won't charger is dead hoover.
