I used to watch Something For The Weekend,and Amanda used to co-present as with nutritional tips.I had no idea how deep her knowledge ran and she showcases that in this book.It's probably the best book on fasting I've read,although I don't agree with some points,on the whole this is a fine book on the subject.Super easy to read and apply,with plenty of case studies and scientific studies to back up the content.This is still just a piece of the jigsaw when it comes to healthy weight loss,but it's a sizeable piece and a great place to start.It presents the pro's and con's of juice fasts,16/8 ,5/2 and alternate day fasting.This is a sensible and well balnced book from someone who has a good understanding of the subject
