Customer Review

on 18 April 2012
This was a useful addition to the library. An abbreviation of Heslop's 1892 'Northumberland Words'-which explains how some of the terms/words in here are old school. Although Mr Graham makes the point all words in here are still in current use; must run some of these past me Aunties and get a clout for being fresh. But there were plenty of words I had forgotten and plenty that were old friends. It was advertised for sale for some small amount of money but the charge was cranked up for overseas postage. Not sure how the seller justifies that given the smallness and lightness of the article. But unlike 'Larn Yersel Geordie' I found this dictionary is value for money.
