Norman Parker has written three books to date, all three of which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Parkhurst Tales started it all off. Not a hand-wringing exercise in self-pity, but a truly engrossing account of the people and situations around him in the jail. Norman is an expert in telling the stories of other people, and to me has definitely lost his way in life. His true vocation should have been author and not murderer. The man writes in an easily read style, and relates the stories he tells in clear and concise terms. However horrifying these tales might be. Essential reading.
