Customer Review

on 8 February 2009
Got this piece of kit last week and am very impressed. I have to agree with the other reviewers. Can't say anything negative. Whole item is light and easy to carry. Very accurate (although calibration has yet to be tested) to the nearest 0.01 of a Kg. Measures in lbs, Kg, grams and Oz's. Has two features not available on other scales I had looked at. 1. Setting the 'Tare'. If you have an awkward shape to weigh, you get a suitable container and weigh it empty. Set the 'Tare' to 0 and add the item you are weighing. This will weigh minus the weight of the container. 2. The hold read-out. Lift the case off the floor and hold for 2 - 3 secs until it beeps. Put the bag down and read off the recorded weight. Try doing that with a dial type scale!!!. Best of all, it's solid enough to whack the check-in guy over the head when he demands £30 for a made up baggage excess.
