Let's hope for a region 2 release soon,
This review is from: Man From Uncle: Complete Series [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] (DVD)
This is the one we have all been waiting for but still they won't let us have it.
This box set is only available to purchase in the U.S. in region 1 format. Time Life currently hold the exclusive rights and the box set is not available for international shipping.
I have heard rumours that season 1 will be available later this year in the US when the exclusive arrangement with Time Life expires (I cannot confirm this is correct).
Lets hope the distributors see sense and make it available to the european market with a region 2 release but don't hold your breath, I remember the VHS releases in the mid 1990's where out of over 100 episodes only 12 were released in the VHS format before we were abandoned (all the episodes were released on NTSC format)

Hi, The Man From UNCLE limited edition boxset can be ordered from a site called www.movietyme.com. Thats where I got mine from and its a cracking set containing all 4 series and loads of extras. The set is region 1 coded so you will need a milti region player. I hope this helps.

Bought my Complete Series from MovieMars via Amazon UK and it just arrived this morning at my home in North Wales all the way from the USA. Yes it's Region 1 NTSC format but all one needs to do is buy a cheap dvd player that can be changed to multi-region with a code downloaded from some internet sites. Worth doing for this amazing long awaited set.

I've bought my Complete Series from TDI Holdings Inc via Amazon.com. Very prompt delivery to Hannover (Germany) within two weeks! The big DVD-Box was brandnew but unfortunately it was not packed well: the Package must have fall down, so that one corner of outer DVD-Box and two corners of two inner DVD-Boxes (four are included) were slightly damaged. It costs just 120 Euro (incl. 19% VAT) and it's NOT Region 1!! Every DVD runs without problems in a standard Region-2-Player. So I think, it's Region 0.

Elke, but is it NTSC or PAL? If the first you still need a NTSC-capable TV - which I have ;)

You can get the first four series on i-Tunes but they are very expensive. Although series one is only £20, series 2 & 3 are £57! with series 4 £30. However if you have a particular favourite episode maybe it's worth buying just one or two. I prefer the early B&W ones so will probably go the i-Tunes route but only buy series one £20 for 29 50 minute episodes seems good value.
