Customer Review

VINE VOICEon 12 September 2004
First broadcast in 1989, this series is easily the worst of the Terry McCann era. The show seemed at this stage to have lost
much of its freshness, with an over reliance on comedy and too many guest stars. The Last Peep Video Show for example features
Ian McShane,Brian Blessed,Rula Lenska and Ken Campbell. Obviously the producers had no idea Dennis Waterman had decided to quit and so his final episode does not feature his departure or any hint of plans to quit working for Arthur. Series 9 the first to feature Gary Webster is far better. If your a fan of Waterman however, then it is worth purchasing.
