Customer Review

on 28 November 2013
This is an enjoyable read, but I wonder whether my issues with it are more to do with the American translation or the actual writing. All that sticks in my head is the word 'Cookies' and 'Nothing doing', which apparently are common words used in Middle English. Why oh why have an American translate a European novel? Also, very disappointing end - with such strong character development it was at odds with the characterisation. That said, and very enjoyable read, but note to publishers on the choice of translator they use!
