This review is from: The Child Taker to Criminally Insane Box Set (Kindle Edition)
The Child Taker - I read this in two days. I simply couldn't put it down as I had to know what happened. Not for the faint-hearted as the descriptions are gruesome in places but they all add to the atmosphere of a well-written novel. Loads of threads, all linking together in this action packed tale. Makes you want to keep looking over your shoulder when the little ones are in your care. I have the box-set and this review is for the first book, but I'm looking forward to the sequel and I'm sure it'll be just as good.

Just to add that I've now read the sequel - Criminally Insane - and was just as gripped and on the edge of my seat as I was with The Child Taker. Absolutely brilliant and a skillfully, well-woven tale that'll have you looking over your shoulder. Lots of heart-in-the-mouth moments. Jack Howarth is quite possibly the most evil man in fiction today, certainly one of the most wanted. But do read this box-set for yourself and see what you think.

I totally agree with your review fantastic read scared to turn the he page it's been a long time since a book gave me the goosebumps. I was also surprised that it was set around Liverpool I could relate to places in the book. I also read Slow Burn couldn't put it down as the story was so clever building to a frenzy of violence right to the end riveting I'm now downloading more books this Author has a new fan. I also enjoyed the fact that these two books were free.
