This review is from: Goldring NS1000 Expedition Noise Cancelling Portable Headphones (Electronics)
I thought I'd spend a bit of money and get myself some noise cancelling headphones for work. I listen to music quite a lot and wear headphones for most of the day so I wanted to spend a bit of money
Initial impressions were pretty good, there was a bit of buzzing in one ear where the noise cancelling circuitry was located but when listening to music you couldn't really hear it. Sound quality was a bit ropey when the noise cancelling was deactivated but good when it was turned on.
After about three weeks of daily use I noticed a stress fracture across the plastic that holds the cups onto the metal banding. After another week this had developed into a full blown crack and they fell to pieces. What a waste of money.
They hadn't been dropped, they hadn't been misused, they just fell apart. Dreadful headphones, I'm going to avoid Goldring like the plague from now.
