Customer Review

on June 24, 2012
I've been a huge Moore fan since the early 80s and Lovecraft for as long as I can remember so this had the making of something special... sadly it falls far short. Like much of Moore's output of late he seems to be increasingly preoccupied with the seedier aspects of his material, that's fine if he has something interesting to say but this isn't it. What you have here is a very pedestrian but grubby take on the Cthulhu mythos. If you want a no-holds barred blow by blow account of how you get the "Innsmouth look" - then this is it -Cthulhu fans will know what I mean, others should stay clear. Nasty. Here's hoping Moore finds his form again soon.
