Not enough meat on the bones of these skeletons,
This review is from: Skeletons in the Cupboard: 70 real life family history tales of criminal deeds, bed-hopping naughtiness and scandalous ancestors! (Kindle Edition)
This is a compilation of 70 stories that readers have discovered in their own family trees. There is the usual range of infidelity, violence and dastardly deeds but as the stories were submitted to a Family History magazine are really too short too qualify as short stories. They have probably been very carefully researched by their descendents but as a reader you only get the very barest of bones of the skeletons. If some additional details had been added before deciding to publish these as a book I'm sure the result would have been a lot more enjoyable.
