Where's the storyline?,

This review is from: Anil's Ghost (Paperback)
I'm sorry, but I persevered with this book, determined to find out what all the fuss was about. I failed to find out why it was so highly reviewed.
Yes, there were aspects of the book which were moving, and very well written, like when Gamini spends the last few hours with his brother, but apart from that, there were no other aspects of this book that managed to keep me awake on the train.
Worth reading if it's all you've got in the house on a rainy afternoon. It won't over excite you though.
