There is nothing wrong with this book. It is well produced, on quality paper, with excellent photographs. Then so are the majority of the hundreds of cookery books produced each year. So the question has to be why buy this one? Frankly, I am not sure. There are not enough recipes, and there is not much discussion of technique, so it does not qualify as the only cookbook you need to own and so, presumably, it should appeal because of its theme. The theme in this case is 'baking'and, under this heading, offers a few recipes in a full range of categories from snacks to desserts. For me, this is not enough to justify buying the book given the competition out there. The publicity says that it offers a unique interpretation on baking but the recipes say heat oven, prepare food, put food in oven.
