As a historical document this is a nice package, 2 CDs and a DVD the CDs are mainly a rejigged into some order version of the DVD content, so approximately 90 minutes of music. Some great performances many known from previous releases such as `Psycomania' and `Stamping ground' which I had on video. The Video quality is acceptable I think this has gone back to some early print of the show, but it's not a high definition transfer, and there are occasional digital artefacts to my mind though care has been taken to source a good print it could have been better. That said this is the best picture quality I have seen for the performances I have. The sound is horrible though Dolby digital at its worst sucking life from the performances, why do companies insist on using Dolby when for music certainly straight LPCM could be used at no cost (There is room on the disc for this even at CD bit rates)?. The CDS are much the same possibly using the same source as the sound is fluffy with occasional dropouts like it's a transfer from the original film stock rather than from Master tapes. Gripes and grumbles aside this is nice to have but not essential even if you are a Pink Floyd Jefferson Airplane Family or T-Rex fan.
