Fraught with problems,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Archos 501540 Arnova 10.2 inch Samsung 533MHz 2GB Web Device - Black (Electronics)
This product is the epitome of why notebooks are on their way out. In just 24 hours usage it has already crashed twice, runs slowly and of course has no actual internal memory space meaning that it blanks itself every time it crashes. This is a lot of work for little gain.

I saw this product advertised and 'phoned the retailer who was very honest. He said at £129 it is very expensive for the limited functions it can perform. The software is based on a stripped-down version of Windows which is 7 years old and is ever so basic. It is not compatible with Windows Live Messenger. He was basically saying not to buy it.

I purchased 2 of these. One for my elderly uncle & 1 for my daughter. I have returned both to Amazon. These machines are only any use if all you want to do is look up things on Wikipedia. Kept crashing. I phoned manufacturer who basically told me it had limited use and that only 'static' info could be googled. Don't waste your money.

Netbooks are still a good solution for many users, but we can all agree that by any measure this is a VERY poor netbook! It may be cheap, but it has very limited functionality.
