This is a classic 1966 subversive anti-war drama from Richard Lester the director of the previous two Beatles films 'A Hard Day's Night' and 'Help'. The satire is akin to Stanley Kubrick's 'Dr. Strangelove' although a lot more abstact and even surreal! Michael Crawford shines in his role while John Lennon is good in his supporting role. I highly recommend this film to anyone who is a fan of The Beatles or Lennon or just classic filmmaking.
