I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I wouldn't say I was a huge McFly fun - I have a couple of tunes on my iPod, I cheered on Dougie in the Jungle and routed for Harry in Strictly. But it is a really good read - it flows well, it's funny, it's sad, and I love the insight into being an emerging boy band. But most of all it feels like an authentic voice. Even if McFly aren't your cup of tea musically, by the end of the book you can't help but wish the boys all the best for the next ten years.
