Customer Review

on 19 April 2013
As a fan of Mad magazine since the 1970's I was looking forward to this book immensely.
It's a large book with a lovely dust jacket with the same illustration produced underneath on the boards.
The paper is thick and shiny and this book exudes high standards.
As mentioned in other reviews there are samples of issues throughout and running along the bottom of the page are the thumbnails of all the magazines covers up to the date of the printing of the book.
If there is one caveat it is that any Mad fan who has bought and enjoyed books such as "Mad about the Fifties", "Sixties", "Seventies", "Eighties", "Movies" and "TV" will no doubt notice that a large proportion of this books contents have already been printed in those previous volumes. For that reason, and that reason only, I gave "Totally Mad" four stars out of five.
If you do not have any or few of the books I have listed and love Mad then this is an essential purchase.
