Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Apple iPad 3 Wi-Fi + 3G/cellular - Tablet - 16 GB - 9.7" IPS ( 2048*1536 ) - rear camera + front camera - White (3rd Generation) (Personal Computers)
I am really pleased with this - it is my first iPad and I love it!
It was very good value for money, very fast with wifi but 3G is very useful when travelling.

Hi, I noticed you said that the 3G was fast - i have brought 2 iPads from this seller but cannot get them to accept any sim cards to use 3g - whicher server did you use? Thanks for the help!

I could not get the iPad to work with a GiffGaff iPad Sim so bought a 3 preloaded SIM from Argos which worked - but you can buy these cheaper from Amazon. Good luck

You said you have bought two iPads from this seller, do you remember if they were covered with a transparent thin-nylon when you un-boxed them? Thanks

Hi, yes, they did have a thin nylon cover but so far i have NEVER been able to get mine to work with a 3G sim card. Despite emailing the seller several times to ask what network they are locked to they have NEVER replied to me. I'm not sure where they get their iPads from but I would NEVER buy from them again, i spent and extra £100 to get 3G but it's never worked - hopefully yours will.

Hi there! Thanks for this insightful and prompt reply. Frankly I have not yet tested whether a 3G SIM card works on my iPad 3 or not. Regarding the seller, I have bought mine from (dragonflydelights) and (s)he is quite responsive to my emails. I think you'd better find a geek to help you with the 3G network functionality. If you were by luck near to me I might have helped you with the 3G as one of my friends is a geek about Apple products.
