I am not a builder or a joiner, I just wanted to build a small house with post and timber. I got a book about the post and logs and I wanted to get this one for learning how to do the joints for the attic. I must say it is very technical but not so practical. In a sense that it shows you different joints but it doesn't show how to cut those. I think this book is better for the ones that already followed a course or a timber school of some sort. I am not saying it is not a good book, just not what I was looking for.
