This movie was great, and it beat my expectations. It wasn't perfect, but it was highly enjoyable, and I have never been to a movie in the cinema where the rest of the audience laughed so much, it was great. If you want a movie with loads of gags then this is the place to go, one of my favourite jokes is when Homer is whipping the dogs saying,''run, run, jump, jump, climb, climb, rest, rest'', and then they attack him and run off and he says,''oh, why does everything I whip leave me?'', epic.
The plot is basically this, Springfields lake pollution has gone too far, so the environmental protection agency decide to imprison Sprinfield in a large dome, to avoid there pollution spreading. The Simpsons manage to escape the dome, but the government are looking for them, and they decide to move home. However when they discover that the government are planning to blow up Springfield, Marge decides to try to save it, but Homer selfishly refuses, and his family go without him.
This, in my opinion, is funnier and better than almost any Simpsons episode, so if you like Simpsons, you will most likely like this, although there have been some bad reviews, but I really don't know why, because the movie is great.
