This book made me write a review of recommendation. The novelty of writing them wore off some time ago. But I feel compelled to do so. It's everything a fantasy series should be so far. Swords, intrigue and royal scheming, well written fight scenes and big battles. This is a well written book with barely any Kindle errors. A fine edition and addition to my library. Just had that nagging feeling though that as the plot progressed the story got more convoluted and lost its crispness and simplicity. When you near the end of a book it's surprises turn into "You know that other time this happened? Yeah well he did it again. But this time slightly differently".
