A useful waterproof box for the garden but with issues,

This review is from: Keter Store It Out XL Outdoor Plastic Garden Storage Shed - Beige/Brown, 160 x 90 x 119 cm (Garden & Outdoors)
I recently purchased one of these storage units to hold logs in my garden, having had a Keter shed over the last 7 or 8 years.
Overall, the box does exactly what it's supposed to. On the downside, it's not as structurally strong as its shed counterpart. The base of the box is injection moulded plastic, but I felt that overall it was a little too thin, just a little too flexible. Also, the back is a black polycarbonate sheet, which again is not as strong as you might like.
The various components are held together by screws. I have no issue with this approach per se. However, the screws here don't have anything much to bite into on either the base or sides. You could keep turning them forever, shredding the hole, instead of them locking tight. Only when you get to the lid and its pistons do the screws feel like they are biting into something substantial. Keter should look to modify their moulds so that the screw fixing points are more solid and not just 1/8 of an inch of softish plastic.
Overall, the box is fine so long as you have a flat surface and don't want to have anything in there that might lean against the sides. Wheelie bins, garden chairs, toys, barbecues etc should all be fine.
